What changed, when, and why.
A running log of what shipped to Coil. New features, behavioral changes, and infrastructure work, with enough context to explain the reasoning behind each entry. Updated as work lands.
SEO program kickoff
Started the SEO program for the marketing surface. Shipped a sitemap, a robots.txt, an llms.txt, and structured data (Organization, WebSite, SoftwareApplication, FAQPage, BreadcrumbList) across the public pages.
The point is to make the site legible to both search crawlers and the LLM-driven assistants that increasingly mediate buying research. Future entries will land here as the program moves forward.
Agent API rate limits
Tightened agent API rate limits. Each organization gets 100 requests per minute and each API key gets 60 requests per minute, evaluated on independent buckets. When a caller exceeds either bucket the API returns a 429 with a Retry-After header so agents can back off cleanly.
The per-key check runs first so a single misbehaving key cannot drain the shared organization budget.
Multi-user organizations
Multi-user organizations are live. Invite teammates from the dashboard. Roles are admin and member. Admins can delete scrapes and automations; both roles can create work and delete leads.
A Clerk webhook keeps the users and organization_members tables in sync, so the members API and the dashboard reflect invites and role changes without extra setup.
